Welcome to the M-Technic S54 build thread.  In this section I'll be documenting the installation of a P&P S54 into an E36 chassis.  Goals will be to avoid any unreversable changes to the car itself.  Since this is a M-Technic, I won't be making any irreversible changes... but lets see what we get when we take this..... and add....

This S54.  Needs a little TLC, but it was a bargain on ebay, and I have the parts to make it right.  I'll be putting on some factory headers to delete the cats, and of course modifying the harness to tranform it into something that literally plugs in the X20 perfectly.  This will be stage one when we add just the following....
DTA S100.  Course, we won't need the adapter harness, I'll upload an image soon of the completed P&P harness with its computer... NOW I've really got the incentive to wrap it up fast.  This will be stage I only.  Stage II will be adding ....
This CF intake.  We're not sure yet, but we're hopeful to see at least 10 hp.  Manufacturer claims 15 at the rear wheels on stock cars using the alternative intake portion that retains the HFM.  We'll report back with real dyno numbers.  Of course, where there is Stage II, we must account for Stage III, and that would be

.... ok... I know, its gross looking... but buried inside are a clean set of CSL cams.  I'll use the headers as well, and have gotten my money's worth I hope.  Not really sure what to expect, but if its another 10 HP too... and we're seeing 325 plus already its not hard to imagine we get up to 345 plus at the rears with this... itching to find out!
